Deciding to pursue a master’s of Education degree is a serious decision, and it’s one that you’ll want to make only after careful consideration. Following these steps will help to guide you through the entire process:
1. Decide if pursuing a Master of Education is the right choice for you.
While the decision to seek a master’s of education degree will ultimately be your own, your friends, family, and colleagues can be an important resource in evaluating your options. Speak to friends who have completed graduate study or who have had experience with online education. What was their experience like? What advice do they have? If you’ll be working or raising a family—or both!—while attending school, you’ll want to plan in advance how you’ll find the time necessary to complete your studies. This is a good time to buy a day planner and to start using it!
